ABOUT THE EVENT

Gigi pip traveled to the Waldorf Astoria in Park City, Utah, for a welcome party unlike any other. Employees flew in from across the country and around the world for a leadership kickoff meeting, and our Hattenders were there to help mark the occasion with something they'd never forget.

For many guests, it was their first time designing a custom hat. Our Hattenders guided each person through the process. Helping them choose the right felt hat, personalize it with carefully selected accessories, and create a finished piece that reflected their own style. Bringing together employees from across the country and around the world calls for an experience that helps people connect. 

What stood out most was how quickly strangers became friends. Coworkers who had only known each other through video calls found themselves swapping stories while picking out ribbon colors. People who were meeting for the first time bonded over brim widths and felt textures. A leadership kickoff can feel formal, but this part of the evening gave everyone a reason to relax, laugh, and connect before the real work began.

Custom hat-making brought something different to the welcome party. Instead of a standard cocktail hour, guests left with a piece they had a hand in creating, one that carried the memory of the night and the people they met along the way. That kind of takeaway tends to stick around a lot longer than a name tag or a branded tote bag.

A huge thank you to the team who invited Gigi Pip to be part of their leadership kickoff. Getting to meet employees from around the world and help each of them create a hat of their own was a privilege, and we're grateful to have been part of the start of their trip together.
