Gigi Pip traveled to the Turtle Lake Club, a private hunting reserve in Michigan, to bring a custom hat bar to Ken and Patty's wedding welcome party. The remote setting made this celebration one of our most memorable yet, and it gave us the chance to prove that a truly special location never has to mean logistical headaches.
Getting a full hat-fitting experience to a private reserve takes planning most guests never see. Our team coordinated every detail in advance, from transportation to setup, so the celebration could unfold without a hitch. Ken and Patty got to focus on their guests and their love story, while we handled the rest.
Sixty guests gathered for the welcome party, and many of them had never tried on a felt hat before. Our Hattenders walked each person through color choices, brim shapes, and finishing touches, turning first introductions into shared moments. Strangers struck up conversations over hat picks, and the mingling carried an energy that set the tone for the whole wedding weekend.
