Gigi Pip brought a taste of the West to a tech gathering in Tempe, Arizona and our Hattenders turned a lunch presentation into an experience nobody saw coming. Over the course of the event, 25 guests traded their conference badges for custom felt hats, many trying one on for the very first time.
The reaction was immediate. Guests broke away from talk of new systems to gather around our station, comparing brim shapes and swapping opinions on colors. For a lot of attendees, this was their first cowboy hat, and the novelty sparked conversations that carried through the rest of the lunch. Several guests were so taken with the experience that they pulled up the Gigi Pip website on the spot, eager to bring the feeling home with them.
What stood out most was how naturally the activation fit into a tech-focused day. Between sessions on new systems, guests found themselves talking hats instead of shop, trading stories and laughing over their reflections in the mirror. The unexpected pairing of cutting-edge presentations and old-world craftsmanship gave the event a memorable twist, one guests are likely still talking about.
