MEET ELISHA THOMPSON

Have you seen Elisha's Instagram? We absolutely ADORE her + her beautiful photographs! We love following her on all her fun adventures + just maybe pretend like we're there by scrolling her images over + over + over again. Sue us! We loved learning more about her + the many hats she wears! 

What are the roles or hats you lead in your life?

I feel that I own many hats and couldn’t be more grateful for each one. A positive influencer, creator, adventurer, photographer, dreamer, daughter, sister, fiancé, and best friend. I am energetic, spontaneous, and always have an appreciation for the blessings in my life.

Which hat do you find most rewarding?

The hat that I find to be the most rewarding would be creating a goal and achieving that goal. I like to write down my goals and visualize them. I think of it as a competition I am having with myself! I feel it when I accomplish any goal that I work towards. It is the most fulfilling feeling!

What hats do you find are most challenging and what do you do to embrace them?

The hats that I find the most challenging… these I hold close to my heart. Learning how to forgive and move on, not comparing yourself, and saving money! I am the WORST with all three of those hats! Overtime I have found it difficult to give people second chances and have become less vulnerable. Through personal experiences, I have learned it's critical to surround yourself with people who bring you happiness, don’t judge your mistakes, and become the best person you can be.

I also feel that social media has made it easy for us to compare ourselves. I’ve learned that at the end of the day, pictures aren’t always truthful and life might not be as great as it seems. Don’t live your life around worrying about how many likes and comments a post might receive. At the end of the day stuff is just stuff. It is easier said than done, but I find myself in a negative space when I compare myself. I am so thankful for my health, family and friends, and the opportunities that I have been given!

What hats are least known about you?

The hats that are least known about me.. good question! I’d have to say that right now a lot of people don’t know that I have a goal to start practicing videography! I love capturing any moments and am so happy we have the technology to do so! I am the pickiest eater, I love Metallica, lime green is my favorite color, Nordstrom is my second home (I am always shopping) I am the happiest on the beach or driving along the PCH, I HATE waking up early, and finally, I dedicated my college career to hearing and speech science! I am working towards my dream career with my degree.

Who or what inspires you?

Life, traveling, my family and friends are the most inspiring people in my life. Along with Taylor Swift ha! I feel that I wouldn’t be who I am today without my personal experiences and memories that I have lived through. Each one has made me the strong and independent individual I am today.
