Gigi Pip celebrated a wedding weekend in Austin, TX—and our Hattenders were right in the middle of the fun. The mother of the groom planned a custom hat bar for her guests, giving each person a chance to create something they could wear that night and keep long after the wedding ended. Over the course of the celebration, our team helped fit 71 guests with their own felt hats.
For many attendees, this was their first time trying on a custom hat. College friends gathered around the station together, comparing brim shapes and swapping stories from their years on campus. What started as a styling session turned into a reunion, with old memories resurfacing as guests picked colors and finished their looks side by side.
Our Hattenders walked each guest through the process, from selecting a felt color to choosing the right brim for their style. Some guests knew exactly what they wanted. Others needed a little guidance to find a shape that felt like them. Either way, everyone left with a hat built around their own personality and the moment they were sharing with friends.
Fitting 71 guests takes coordination, and our team designed the station to keep the line moving without losing the personal touch that makes each hat feel special. Guests could talk, laugh, and take their time, knowing the process was easy on their end and fully handled on ours.
By the end of the celebration, the space was filled with new hats, old stories, and a group of friends who left with a keepsake tied to the wedding and to each other.
