A Corporate Offsite to Remember

Gigi Pip recently had the pleasure of joining Plaid's corporate leadership offsite at Blue Sky Lodge in Park City, Utah and it was exactly the kind of event that reminds us why we love what we do. Nestled inside a remote yurt tent against the backdrop of the mountains, 18 company leaders walked away with custom felt hats in just one hour.

For a leadership offsite, the gift matters. These are the people who shape company culture, and a custom felt hat isn't something they'll tuck into a drawer and forget. It's a conversation starter, a keepsake, and a reflection of the thought that went into the experience. When someone puts on a hat that feels made for them that feeling sticks.

What also stood out was how naturally the hat-fitting process brought people together. Even in a group of senior leaders who know each other well, there's something about choosing a brim style or debating a color that loosens the room. Our Hattenders facilitated those moments without forcing them, letting the experience unfold the way the best offsite activities do—organically.

Pulling off a seamless hat experience in an offsite yurt isn't something most brands could manage but that's precisely where Gigi Pip thrives. Our Hattenders arrived prepared, organized, and ready to work within whatever space the event called for. No loading docks, no dedicated vendor halls, no ideal setup required.
